Granddaughter of Brazilian coffee producers from the lush terroirs of Minas Gerais, Daniela Capuano grew up among coffee trees, immersed in the traditions of her family’s farm.
Initially drawn to Design, her passion for coffee soon took over, leading her to begin her career as a Barista in Belo Horizonte. Her thirst for discovery brought her to France, where she made history in 2019 by winning the prestigious Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) in Roasting—a title she remains the only woman to ever hold.
Recognized by her peers as one of the world’s foremost coffee experts, Daniela expresses her artistry through the creation of two exceptional blends: Saudade and Outrenoir—each a testament to her expertise, precision, and passion.

Saudade is my Madeleine de Proust. I wanted to create a coffee where I find the summer notes of my childhood spent running between coffee trees. I wanted something simple, very natural, with fruity notes, to find the comforting flavor of a happy nostalgia.

I wanted to offer my vision of a coffee that is black and bright like his paintings, an espresso that combines strength and elegance, with notes of wood, leather and chocolate that linger in the mouth for a long time.
