The granddaughter of Brazilian coffee producers from Minas Gerais, Daniela grew up surrounded by the coffee trees on the family farm.
After studying Design, it was quite natural for her passion for coffee to prevail and she began her career as a Barista in Belo Horizonte. Her desire to travel led her to France, where she won the Meilleur Ouvrier de France Torréfaction competition in 2019, where she is still the only woman to hold the title. Considered by her peers as the leading coffee expert, Daniela has created two exceptional blends with Saudade and Outrenoir.
Saudade is my Madeleine de Proust. I wanted to create a coffee where I find the summer notes of my childhood spent running between coffee trees. I wanted something simple, very natural, with fruity notes, to find the comforting flavor of a happy nostalgia.
I wanted to offer my vision of a coffee that is black and bright like his paintings, an espresso that combines strength and elegance, with notes of wood, leather and chocolate that linger in the mouth for a long time.
