Lionel Giraud, founder of Momus, asks him about his relationship with coffee: She remembers that her very first coffee was drunk in secret, with a lover.
Lionel : Dear Linda, will your latest film with Paolo Sorrentino be released in France in January?
Linda : I think so, in January.
Lionel : Was this the first time you worked with him?
Linda : No, it wasn't the first time I'd worked with him. We'd already collaborated on a film for Campari , a short film for Campari Red Passion. It was great because I worked with Clive Owen and we had a lot of fun. We were at Cinecittà . That's about all I can say about the film, as we can't talk about it before its release. But I can just say that I'm really grateful. Working with Paolo is my favorite thing in the world.
Lionel : He's a great guy. You're Italian, the land of coffee of course, what's your first memory, your first coffee, do you remember?
Linda : I remember because I had a date with a boy, I really liked him. I was 16, something like that. He put the coffee on the table, but I wasn't having it yet, and he said, "Shall we have coffee?" I said, "Yes, yes, yes," and then he said, "Shall we have another coffee?" And I said, "Yes, yes, yes," and he said, "One more coffee," and we had four. I was hallucinating because of the four coffees, all together, and then I remember I couldn't go home. Oh no, it wasn't 16, I was 18. I didn't drink coffee when I was little. Because for my mother, it was forbidden .
Lionel : Yes, it's like cigarettes. For you, the first coffee is both forbidden and a love story .
