This blend is composed of three varieties, each from regions with environmentally friendly agricultural practices:
- Red Catuaì from Brazil: comes from the family farm Ninho da Aguai, located in the region of Caparaó. As a pioneer of sustainable agriculture, João Hamilton has implemented nature-friendly practices such as reforestation, recycling of waste and stopping the use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.
- The Heirloom of Ethiopia: grown on the organic farm of Chelchelle, in the heart of the Yrgacheffe appellation, this region is known for its excellent coffees. Amman Adinew, after years in the US, returned to Ethiopia to enhance local production using ancestral and manual agricultural practices.
- The Castillo de Colombia: Originally from the La Cristalina farm in the Quindio region, this coffee is grown in an area known for its diverse landscapes and sustainable agricultural practices. The Quindio region is famous for its high quality coffee production, thanks to its favorable climate and fertile soils.
Variety
This blend is composed of three varieties:
- The Red Catuaì comes from the family farm Ninho da Aguai, located in the region of Caparaó. It is distinguished by its notes of caramel and praline.
- The natural heirloom of the Yrgacheffe region in Ethiopia comes from the organic farm of Chelchelle. Growing at 2,000 metres, this variety brings floral notes and is characterized by its roundness and lightness.
- The Castiillo, from the Colombian farm La Cristalina, located at 1,450 meters in the Quindio region, offers an exceptional aromatic profile with notes of red fruits and liquorice.
Recipe
Ingredients:
A few grams of Farniente
A half orange
Ice cubes
Utensils:
An espresso machine or Italian coffee maker
A shaker
A glass type whisky glass
A straw
Preparation:
Prepare a double espresso or 12cl of coffee with an Italian coffee maker
Fill a shaker with ice cubes
Pour the coffee on the ice cubes
Add 20 ml of freshly squeezed orange
Shakez at length
Pour into a whiskey glass
Arrange a straw and a quarter orange
